Kicks Off Series of Career Chats

Napa, Calif. November 20, 2020 When looking for that new job have you ever wondered, ‘where do I start my search‘ or ‘what are employers looking for’‘? 

These are big questions and nonprofit NapaLearns and Trinchero Family Estates (TFE) have teamed up to help answer them. Nora McAuley, human resources manager at Trinchero Family Estates, will be presenting at the NapaLearns Virtual Career Academy Career Chat on December 1, 2020, from 4:00-5:00pm. Founded in 1948 and with more than 1,000 employees, TFE is the world’s second-largest family-owned winery and fourth-largest overall. 

Nora McAuley, TFE, Leads Discussion

McAuley joined TFE in 2008 after earning her degree in Business Administration from Chico State. For the last 10 years, she has led the Summer Internship Program at TFE, attracting college students from all over the United States. Currently, she is the HR Business Partner supporting employees in the Operations and Supply Chain departments.

She will be speaking on the processes and issues related to: 

  • Searching — how to increase your visibility through your digital profile
  • Interviewing — how to prepare for the best outcome 
  • Hiring — what are the skills companies are seeking
